Shanghai MAHLE Thermal Systems Co., Ltd. (SMTS, previously known by: SBTS) is a partnership between MAHLE Behr GmbH & Co. KG and Sanden Huayu Automotive Air-Conditioning Co., Ltd. Established in 2004, SMTS focuses on the development, production and sales of HVAC systems, engine cooling components and modules, and new energy components and systems for automobiles.


Located in Jinqiao Free Trade Zone, the headquarters cover a total area of 120,000 square meters. With the development of business and to satisfy the customers’ demands in North, Southwest, South and East China, SMTS has three wholly-funded subsidies, which are CMTS (Chengdu MAHLE Automotive Thermal Systems Co., Ltd.), YMTS (Shenyang MAHLE Automotive Thermal Systems Co., Ltd.) and NMTS (Ningde MAHLE Automotive Thermal Systems Co., Ltd.), we also have branches in Changsha, Nanjing, Ningbo, Wuhan, Jilin, Yantai and so on.


SMTS actively promote the continuous improvement in quality, COPA, as well as energy-saving and emission-reduction. We provide advanced and integrated thermal system solutions to each customer by using advanced imported production equipment and test equipment on R&D and innovation.
